The orleans hotel casino buffet

Unless you are lucky enough to grab some crab legs as they are coming from the kitchen, you are likely to be disappointed. Between my husband and I, we made 3 trips for crab legs and every time they were cold and over-cooked. If, however, you are like me and prefer at seafood meal to be 70% or more crab legs, you are better off going to a specialty seafood restaurant. The New England clam chowder was bland, and you can get better at Red Lobster. I am not normally a fan of Manhatten clam chowder, but theirs was good. There were snow crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, oysters, and a large variety of seafood dishes. If you are looking for a variety of seafood, it is a good deal. Compared to other buffets, I would rate it average or slightly above. We are from out of town, so cannot compare to how the buffet was before the remodel.

When we left around 6:15 the que was still within the designated gates, and seemed about the same length as when we went in. It seems they were just staggering seating to give the servers time, it was not too busy. We arrived around 4:30 and waited about 20 minutes to sit down. Ate at the Medley Buffet tonight (opening Friday) for Seafood night.
